The set is in Umbergaon, the border of Gujarat. It is first ever television show to be shot in Khaosak. The team has already shot in Khaosak, Thailand two months back. This is one of Sony's most expensive show. It's the story about a historic warrior Porus who will be fighting all odds and especially his opponent the equally strong Alexander. After introducing shows like Haasil and Ek Deewana Tha, Sony TV is all set to launch its most expensive show, Porus, which is a period show set in 326 BC. The channel has been making sure that their shows are content worthy, unlike most shows. It's not like the regular daily soaps we watch or for which Television is known for. Sony TV has been introducing different genres of shows which are extremely and gripping.
